BAS Eddy Currents Separators Were Commissioned In The Middle East For Pet Recycling

BAS Eddy Current Separators, are used in the PET recycling sector to separate Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals in different grain sizes in 2 different processes.

The ECS-EC-1000-24-WD model was initially used in the bottle section of the facility for the purpose of cleaning and classifying larger plastics.

In PET recycling, the grinding process is a critical step widely used in both the recycling and manufacturing processes. Grinding facilitates the recycling of plastics and reducing material loss and increasing environmental sustainability. This process is the flaking process. In this process, BAS-ECS-EC-800-48-WD model has taken its place in the facility for the purpose of ferrous-non-ferrous metal screening in the 3-6 mm grain size material, which is the crushed material in the flake line.

BAS ECS- 48 pole model crushed product (flake) is positioned before entering the washing pools. It is very important that the product is separated from the metals when fed to the pools. In this area *87% of ferrous-non-ferrous metals are cleaned from the metals. By performing a second separation with the optical sorter positioned after washing, the sorter efficiency is also increased.

BAS ECS models continue to increase the value of plastic material in its market sales and make it value-added.
