Iron minerals causes major quality problems for the ceramics industry . These minerals can be mixed naturally in the ore or into raw materials made by during processing. While the separation time can be short for dirty raw materials conditions, the separation time can be longer for cleaner raw materials as the matrix will work more easily. The separation circuit is controlled via PLC with fully automatic valves and electromagnetic group that is automatically activated and allows remote monitoring.

In order to keep the density in the cleaned ceramic glaze under control, the filter is dried in each new cycle and the system is made ready for the next separation cycle.

Electromagnetic filters can be preferred for raw materials of feldspar and quartz producers working for the same operation as they are used for industrial raw materials.
